Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Northern Michigan University Department of Music is presenting their latest series of free monthly concerts at the Reynolds Recital Hall on campus.

Rusty Bowers from the NMU Department of Music joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to preview four special concerts:

NMU Choirs Concert featuring Choral Music from the Western World, which is  coming up tomorrow, February 20th at 3:00 p.m.

NMU Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble Concert performing a variety of traditional and contemporary music on Monday, February 22nd at 7:30 p.m.

NMU Jazz Band & Combo Concert featuring the NMU Jazz Band, the NMU Jazz Combo, and the NMU Jazz Workshop Combo on Tuesday, February 23rd at 7:30 p.m.

NMU Orchestra’s Children’s Concert featuring music geared toward 4-14 year olds. It will be about 45 minutes in length on Wednesday, February 24th at 6:30 p.m.

Bowers said all of the concerts are free and open to the public and will be at the Reynolds Recital Hall in the C.B. Hedgcock Building.
