Royales Hockey Is On The Docket At Lakeview Arena In Marquette

    MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette Royales of the Minnesota Junior Hockey League (MNJHL) will be competing at Lakeview Arena beginning with the upcoming season.  The Royales will play a 46 game schedule which will include 21 home games.

    Head Coach Mike Stanaway and Director of Operations Dean McAuliffe joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about the upcoming season.

    The two chatted with Mike Plourde about the team and their home debut on September 20th as they host a three game series against the Fort
    Wayne Federals.

    The MNJHL, a USA Hockey sanctioned Junior A hockey league, has 16 teams with members in Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Missouri, and Minnesota.

    Stanaway and McAuliffe mentioned that The Royales will have two open tryouts.  The first tryout camp will be August 3rd – 5th in South Bend, Indiana followed by a camp in Marquette August 30th – 31st.

    Season tickets for all 21 home games are on sale now for only $100.00 for adults and $70.00 for students.
