Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Gwinn Area Community Schools are considering presenting a reworked school millage proposal to present to district voters this spring.

District Superintendent Tom Jayne joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today as part of the Tuesday Morning Superintendent Series and shared some insight into the idea.

Jayne said a previous version of the millage proposal and a bond proposal were defeated by voters earlier this year and now the district is considering their options, which include the reworked millage request.

Jayne also talked about some of the successes in the district from the first two months of the new school year and his first few months as the new Superintendednt.
