Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Negaunee Co-op Preschool is holding their first annual “Trek or Treat” Halloween Fun Run/Walk on Saturday October 31st as a fundraiser.
Chelsea Pekrul, a teacher at the preschoo,l and co-op board member Nicole Carlson joined the SUNNY Morning Shwo with Walt & Mike today to preview the event.
Pekrul said the event is being held at Jackson Miner’s Park, Heritage Trail in Negaunee and features a 5K family event, a 5K individual event and a 1 mile family event.
Carlson explained what the preschool co-op is and what services they provide, adding that they are completely funded by tuition and financial contributions.
They added that the best way to register is online on their facebook page and Halloween costumes and strollers are welcome at this family friendly event, where there are no tricks, but lots of treats.
