Marquette, MI – November 21, 2017 – Negaunee Winter Athletics is getting it in gear with tonight’s “Meet the Miners” event! Negaunee High School invites the community to the school to meet the 2017-2018 winter teams.
Starting at 6:30pm tonight in the auditorium, students will be introduced individually and by team along with the coaching staff. During the event you get a chance to hear from the coaches and meet this season’s roster! Following introductions the teams will break up for group meetings. At this time, parents are encouraged to sign up for Booster Club concession stand shifts during home games.
While you’re there, take the chance to meet winter sports announcers for Sunny.FM 101.9, the Voice of the Negaunee Miners, Jesse Anderson and Brady Guilbault! The guys will be out tonight to interact with the community and chat with the coaches as well.
You will hear Jesse and Brady back on-air for the first Negaunee winter game when the girls basketball team travels to Gladstone next week. The game, hosted by the Gladstone Braves on Tuesday, November 28th, will start at 7:20 pm. Tune in around 6:45 pm for a Pre-game Show before all of the basketball action broadcasted live on Sunny.FM 101.9. You can also stream this game live from your computer or mobile device!
