“We had a tough match against Escanaba tonight. We did not play to our level and struggled outplaying Escanaba’s Libero. Adena Anderson did have an excellent defensive game for us, and had one of her best defensive games of the season. Courtney Clickner & Aubrey Nyman made some great plays at the net as well.”
Leading the way for the Miners tonight, as mentioned above, was Adena Anderson with 18 digs. Courtney Clickner finished the match with four kills and three aces. Hannah Laurila led the way in the assist column with 17.
The Escanaba JV team also came out on top 2-0.
The Miners will play next Tuesday (September 23rd) at 6pm in Negaunee! This will be their last home match until October 9th, so get on down to Lakeview and support the girls as they continue their season!
