Marquette, MichiganOctober 20th, 2018 – Jacob Laitinen plays Beadle Bamford, the main enforcer and stooge of Judge Turpin in the NMU presentation of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.  Jacob joined Todd Pazz this last Saturday on the 8th Day Radio Show to discuss the actor perspective of the play, especially the fun of playing one of the “bad guys.”  Among the topics discussed were the difference between the play and the recent Johnny Depp movie version of the play, the difference of each performance during during the run of the play, the difference between a movie experience and a theater experience, the cast, the music, and the less “campy” nature (more mature subject matter)  of this musical.
