Gladstone, MINovember 18th, 2017 – The Kilborn Alley Blues Band played at the Terrace Bay Hotel in Gladstone on November 18th as a part of the Blues For A Cause program headed by Wendy Pepin, who visited The 8th Day and talked with Todd Pazz about the concert.  The group had just arrived back in the U.S. from their European tour, and their first gig back in the States was in the U.P.!  All the proceeds from the event, organized by Pepin as a part of her Blues For A Cause Program, went to the Delta County Drug Court.

The Delta County Drug Court, an Escanaba organization that is around a year and a half old, helps to get people with addictions onto a path of recovery.  Rather than going to jail for a long period of time, the Drug Court helps to get addicts into rehab, get past their history with drugs, and get a job once they are through their recovery.

Blues For A Cause is a charitable program that puts on concerts to raise money for various charities throughout the area.  Their events are always a great time for everyone at a great price, and it was no different when the Kilborn Alley Blues Band played their 3 hour long show at the Terrace Bay Hotel.

The Kilborn Alley Blues Band is a blues/rock/soul group based out of Chicago who play their own original songs and deliver a sound that will satisfy any blues fan.  They have played in Gladstone once before, in 2012, and people have been requesting them back ever since!  They were finally able to come back, and they played the Terrace Bay Hotel in Gladstone on November 18th.
