    Verb: Garnish  (GAHR-nish)

    Definition:

    1. Decorate, embellish.

    2. To add decorative or savory touches to, as in food or drink.

    3.  To equip with accessories or furnishings.

    4. To take (as a debtor’s wages) by legal authority:  garnishee.

    Sample sentence:  The only difference between the steak dinner at the fancy restaurant and the one at the local diner was the little garnish on the plate and the higher price.
