Marquette, MIDecember 16th, 2016 – Mill Creek Senior Living Community hosted a Christmas party for residents from assisted living, the memory care unit, and independent living, along with staff and all their families in Marquette today. Mill Creek has such a caring staff and the perfect environment for your loved ones.

Approximately 250 people packed into the Mill Creek Commons to celebrate Christmas together today. The friendly Mill Creek staff prepared food and goodies for everyone to snack on throughout the party. A photo booth was available to capture fun holiday moments and there was even live entertainment as the band Playing Jacks entertained the crowd.

Throughout the year, Mill Creek residents participate in the “Caught Caring” program. Each month a staff member is nominated by the residents and then the employee is is caught caring the most throughout the year wins a special “Caught Caring” award. The recipient of the award will be announced at the party.

Everyone who walked through the door got a raffle ticket to win raffle prizes. There were 10 great items to be given to the raffle winners. The party itself was very festive and everyone was in good cheer.

While the big cake, delicious Christmas cookies and hors d’oeuvres at the large buffet table were great, the highlight of everyone’s day was when the big Jolly Elf showed up! Santa Claus came to bring Christmas presents to every single resident at Mill Creek.

Residents at Mill Creek enjoy a variety of social events and the caring staff focuses on helping residents remain as independent and active as possible. The Christmas party is the biggest event held during the year, so staff and residents alike look forward to all the fun.

If your loved one needs help with every day tasks or if they need memory care, Mill Creek offers a full spectrum of services to assist every individual’s specific needs. And because they strive to help each person maintain their own independence in a worry-free environment, residents and their families can relax knowing that there is always someone there to lend a helping hand.

Call Mill Creek today at 225-5512 to set up a tour of the grounds and see how they can help keep your mom and dad safe, independent, and happy.
