Week in review: MLB – The Tigers split a two-game series with Cleveland and won two out of three against the Angels to go 3-2 last week (9-6 overall). The Brew-crew cooled off a bit, but still managed to go 4-3 last week to remain atop the NL at 14-5. The Cubs went 1-4 in two tough series, @ the Yankees and vs. Cincinnati. NHL – The Red Wings pulled off an upset in Boston in game 1 on a filthy play by Pavel Datsyuk. Boston, a heavy favorite to win Lord Stanley’s Cup, wasn’t going to go down 2-0 heading back to Hockeytown and won in convincing fashion on Sunday. The Blackhawks have played in four overtimes in two games and failed to pull out a win in either. They now head back to Chicago down 2-0 to St. Louis. NBA – The playoffs started this weekend, and saw the Pacers get dominated and the Bulls fall to Washington.
