Sunny.FM the most awarded radio station in the U.P., two years running!

Marquette, MI  –  May 5, 2016  –  Earlier this week, our very own Luke & Todd Noordyk left Marquette to head down to Lansing for the event we work year round to be ready for. Last year, Sunny took home the mother of all awards from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Awards:  Station of the Year!

While we didn’t get Station of the Year this year, Sunny.FM is now the “Most Awarded Radio Station in the U.P. Two Years in a Row.” We accrued the most points out of all UP stations with our awards and were runner up to the Station of the Year!

This year, we we placed in multiple categories. Sunny came in first  in the “Newscast” category and received  merit or second place in Community Involvement, Marketing Material, Morning Show, and New Media.

Our sister station, 103-FXD, brought home two merits for Adam Carpenter’s Outdoor Show, and a Northern Awning and Window commercial!

WRUP 98.3 also placed during the ceremony and won first place with a Wendy’s commercial!

Special thanks to all of you loyal listeners that make what we do worth it!

Check out some photos of the awards we brought home:
