Marquette, Michigan April 23, 2016 – Dozens of families spent Saturday touring the Mill Creek Senior Living Community here in Marquette. Families were treated to guided “Take Away Tours” of Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living. What’s a Take Away Tour? On these special tours, guests received gift items at each designated tour stop – a treat from the kitchen, a lint roller from the laundry department, scented lotions from the beauty shop, and more!

Kristine Scheider Administrator had a chance to join Walt & Mike on 101.9 Sunny.FM on Thursday prior to the open house to discuss the up coming open house.

Mill Creek’s professional caring staff showed families the full spectrum of services they offer to assist with the specific needs of each resident.

Sarah DeRoche, Memory Care Activities Coordinator enjoys sitting down with residents, engaging with them, and starting some mind games or mind activities of matching up objects and pictures bringing back memory connections which keeps residents busy and active for a good long time.

When you choose Mill Creek, you’ll rest easy knowing that your loved one will be able to maintain an independent lifestyle with around-the-clock staff that’s always there to lend a helping hand.

The goal at Mill Creek is to make sure each and every resident enjoys their independence and the highest quality of life, health and well-being. To reach that goal, they offer four different living options: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Respite Care.
