Cover to Cover Truth - Time For Wisdom
Jeff Helsius was born and raised in Trout Creek through the age of eight, moving away after the town’s sawmill burned down in 1968. Having lived in multiple mid-western communities and Florida as a healthcare administrator and pastor, Jeff was excited for the opportunity to once again return to his native Trout Creek in 2014.
He is blessed with family including his wife Virginia and grown children Matthew, Rachel, Andrew and Becka and grandchildren Micah, Davee, Vivienne and Georgiana. Pastor Jeff’s call to preach began at the age of 16, and the call to write his own songs occurred one memorable day in Florida in 1997.
Since then he has had the opportunity to professionally record over 60 of his original songs. An ordained full gospel minister, Jeff currently pastors the First United Presbyterian Church in Trout Creek.

Marquette, MI – September 14, 2017 – Last week was an endurance contest of waiting wasn’t it? Where will the hurricane hit? Where will “whack-a-mole” Irma raise her ugly head?
