Munising – Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore has cross country ski trails maintained by the National Park Service in Munising and Grand Marais. Groomed for classic diagonal stride skiing, Munising trails cover 11.7 miles, Grand Marais covers 10.4 miles; both offering a variety of terrain for beginner to experienced level skiers in a beautifully wooded setting. The park trails are free, but a $3 donation per day is encouraged and can be made at each of the ski trail heads.
